      Can I drill out the holes in my 1958 Mercury Mark 55, that has the smaller studs in it and mount a Mercury Mark 58 lower unit, that has the larger studs on the Mark 55 upper ???? Thank Rick in Foxburg

        Not sure with your 4 cylinder but Merc made stepped studs for early in-line 6’s to swap gearcases, might check it out,

          Yes, they had the stepped studs for the 4-cylinders applications also, and we do have them.
