Test stand ideas
May 10, 2020 at 8:33 am #202658depends how fancy you want it… I just built one from a scrap piece of 2×6 couple of 2×4 2×3 and 4 casters from Wal Mart total cost about 35$ CDN see pict
on mine I preferred to put the angled members at the other end of the base frame where the gas tank sits to center to motor on the stand to keep the weight centered
lots of plans on internet that picture in not my own stand……. it is an example from pictures on the internet

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

"Every time you remove a broken or seized bolt an angel gets his wings."May 11, 2020 at 7:58 pm #202838O, that is a gorgeous RD… mine are still in baskets.
May 12, 2020 at 9:15 am #202863Years ago I built one similar to Tubs’, but using a blue plastic 55 gallon barrel I cut down to size. Later I added a shelf to hold a gas tank, after discovering some fuel pumps (Mikuni in my case) would not “lift” fuel from ground level. From the shelf to the carb of a 1958 Fleetwin was 18″, never had issues afterward.
If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.
