      Thank you all so much for helping. I’ll take a couple of good pictures so you can see how nice the motor is. I would say the cover is in good condition. I am only the second owner! In all it’s years its only spent two winters outside. I love it, and so far this is the only part I have had trouble with. – John

        Thanks for all of the help guys. I love this motor and up until now I have been lucky with parts. Its a great runner and clean inside. I would say my cover is in good condition. I’ll take a couple pictures and post them so you can see. I do actually have one side question. I ordered a carbon kit but it didn’t come with springs and my springs are bent. Couldn’t I just get replacements at the auto parts store? – John

                  I’m going to try to get a look at mine this weekend and see if both are good. If they are I’ll let you know and we can figure something out. I have had very busy weekends lately and I’m prepping things for winter now so no guarantees, but it’s on my short list. 😉

                    John,
                    I haven’t had a chance to get into these yet. I’m not sure if mine are bother good or not. Both my "good" one and my parts motor hit the floor when the rack let go of the wall this summer. I have not forgotten though. Immediately try again to get to other this weekend. I have a bunch of motors to still winterize but I’ll try to check these out.

                      I took a look at my motors and I do not have the same cap. I’ll keep an eye out for you in my adventures but unfortunately I’m not going to be of any help at this time. I at least wanted to let you know.
