        Does anyone have an early 60’s Elgin forty for sale or does anyone know of the part in the title? I am having zero luck! – John

          No I don’t have this engine but on a other project it looks like you have a parts catalog for this motor. Do you have a picture with part numbers for the prop, shear pin and gearcase housing. If so could it be posted on this thread. Thanks.

            Is this the same cap as used on a late 1960s McCulloch 45? I’ve got one that had water in the gear case that toasted the bearings. Housing looks okay. PM if you want me to find it this weekend.

              My ’62 parts book says its 236-3135. I think the 40, 43.7 and 45 all used the same part – can’t think of a reason they wouldn’t..
