I had a similar one as a laptop attachement… great tool to have
allowed me to find rusted pipe drain inside a wall cavity … our flat top housing here in Montreal all drain from one single 4″ central drain on the roof
rainy days where not fun….in my basement
had to cut an openning in a wall and have the plumber splice in a new pipe section
I made my own from a surgery scope that made it to the stereliser (spelling ) . Most scopes go the cold soak, not in the steam cleaner. They come in straight, 30 45 & 90 degree optics. Attach a light sourse, fiber optic cable & look thru the lens, used in surgery. Once the uptics has been steamed they fog up & it’s pitched but in air conditioning they dry up.Got the fiber optic cable from a robotic assembly line.. They break a few strands in the plastic optical strands they don’t “see” the object it errors assemly so I took them home. Just something fun & free to build.
