Hello.  I picked up a few motors today, and I have a few questions about some of them.  One is a Neptune model AA1, serial number E700U(or 0)U(or 0).  The two questions that arise from that motor is what year is that motor, and given that it is missing the fuel line, can I take it off of a model AA1A motor that I also bought and intent do use somewhat for parts because it has a broken skeg?.  I also bought a 1937 Evinrude Sportsman with the original carrying bag, and while I do not have any questions regarding the motor at this time, I do have some regarding the carrying bag.  It is in good physical shape, but is somewhat moldy/soiled with age.  Is there a good way to clean this?  it is the oiled canvas type.  I was thinking that I would scrub it down really good with soap and water and then re-wax it.

Being around mold is “iffy”at best! first get good eye & air protection, Plus look on the web to see what kind of mold you are dealing with. Please don’t hurt yourself, you will be sorry! Also ask here on the safety forum about mold.

It may also just be a bunch of dust that looks like mold.  I have not been able to look into it that much yet.
