      My nephew and a friend picked up a mid eighties Mercury 135

      Oil injected Black Max.

      The oil inject has been disabled and he want’s o know the oil/gas

      ratio to run it at . So far they’ve been running on what’s in the

      tank while getting it to run.

      Thanks for any help.

      Can anybody tell me why i get double spaced when I

      post on this site?

        I’m almoost sure it is 50/1 ratio. Those oil injected motors ran very lean on oil while idiling but when you slam full throttle they starve for oil waiting for the electronics & oil pump to react. Very hard on the motors.
