      I’m reassembling my ’57 Lightwin and looking for recommendations on what type of thread sealant to use on the fuel tank petcock.

        I usually just use some Permatex Aviation sealer and have no problem,
        but sure they’re something better for the application. Maybe I’ll learn
        something.

          I also thought about Permatex Aviation sealer.  I had to replace an in-line fuel filter on my ETEC 150 last year and used Rectorseal No. 5 on those fittings and it seems to work fine.  Just wanted to get some ideas on what other folks were using.
