remote spark advance, early Evinrudes

How would I set up remote spark advance for a 1929 Evinrude Fastwin?  Seems like there would have to a bracket mounted on the motor somehow.  If there were rope and pulleys mounted on the boat and connected t the lever, the lever would advance and retard when you turn.  I asked a similar question here regarding a Speeditwin.
