I just freed up a 1956 Fleetwin after soaking it for several days in the 50/50 (acetone – ATF) mixture followed by setting fire to it. The pistons were in the bores even with one another (advantage). I took a couple of old cotton socks and cut them in strips and soaked them in ATF, stuffed the socks in the boars and lit it off. Sucker burned for darn there 30 minutes. Let it cool and tap tap with a wood block and shazam, she freed up.

Havent used it on a motor but we use it on rail car parts and it works wonders. KB88

Well I got it unstuck and apart. When I went to pull the head off I had my wife putting pressure on the flywheel with a socket. When I got the head free it relieved the pressure she was holding and spun the top piston into the block. Instantly breaking off a big chunk of the skirt. Now I get to try and find a new piston. Too bad too, the bore looked great for having a stuck piston. A little rust , but noting that won’t clean up with a hone.
