      Put the throttle on “Choke”, then once it fires up, to Start” or “Run” or whatever it says.
      I didn’t bother with the compression release.
      I can’t remember the needle settings, but I always start out rich
      so it stays running, then tune it in.

        One of these old school feeler gauges can come in handy for setting points thru a flywheels inspection hole.
