this motor can’t be a j-65. the lower is not correct. I don’t think there’s anything on that motor that IS a j-65 except for the rope sheave. for being in the original crate, (if it is original) it’s sure in rough shape.

I’m thinking it’s a j-75/80.

you’re right kees! on the j-75/80 models, the gas filler neck and cap is off to the side. must be a real frankenmotor!
