As shown in pic, the lo-speed bushing came out with the needle.
Have tried threading the bushing onto the needle a few threads, snugging up the packing and inserting into the carb.
Then tighten packing nut enough to try and keep bushing from turning, then thread in the needle following simultaneously with the nut.No luck after several tries, looking for some sage advice.
Bill.
P.S.
Assume the flat end of the bushing goes toward the carb, dished ent toward the packing disks.May 19, 2021 at 4:25 pm #238608That’s the procedure. Try tightening the packing nut a bit tighter, to secure the bushing.
May 19, 2021 at 6:25 pm #238623I’m glad you two know what you’re talking about, lol
Prepare to be boarded!
May 19, 2021 at 10:49 pm #238631Perhaps the threads are buggered up a bit making it hard to turn, forcing the bushing to spin…Try threading the needle into the bushing outside the carb to see if there is an issue

Tried again and think I may have it now.Won’t know for sure until I fire it up of course.
Great suggestions as always.BTW, I tried to post a pic of my assembly similar to Mumbles’ but it didn’t go with the text yesterday. I must be not clicking a button or something? I’ve successfully posted one pic recently and one unsuccessfully on another topic recently.
The pic I select appears under the text when I select “submit” , but doesn’t seem to make it through to the site.I’m going to try again now: 1) select file
2) my picture shows up from my file
3) size looks ok at 1036 kbNow I notice the 3 options in green type……one being “insert into content”, I’ll give it a try.
Bill.May 20, 2021 at 8:20 am #238650Pic posted, guess I had just missed that green type somehow?
