Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a Estart Johnson with a solenoid and simple push button start on the boat dash? I’m retro fitting an Estart to a 1966 FD 20. I have the starter and bracket installed, OMC solenoid mounted inside the motor cover, and Echoke mounted on carb. I want to set this up with push to choke and push to start buttons on the boat dash board. I will also be wiring a battery cut off switch. I can use the stock factory kill button that came on the motor by lengthening the wires for that. Any help appreciated.
Thank you,

If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.
March 25, 2016 at 1:40 pm #33893I can help you with a wiring drawing to be functional. Not sure if it is the same as Johnson but will be functional. Do you know how your start solinoid is
wired on the inside? Send me an e mail at Jeff.50@cox.net.. & I will return a drawing for your use. Do you have a jenny for charging too, or notMarch 25, 2016 at 2:06 pm #33895Thank you Kerry and Jeff. My lap top crashed a few weeks ago taking all my manuals, notes and everything with it. That manual really helps to get some info back. Jeff, will Email you shortly.
Thanks again,

March 25, 2016 at 10:28 pm #33913Thanks Guys,
Got her all wired up. Works great!March 26, 2016 at 5:20 pm #33946So happy for you. The solenoid is the correct factory one. Where the one wire goes to ground it should go to a safety switch on the motor to not let it start in a full throttle position. Do you have any more electrical parts on the side of the motor? or not?
March 26, 2016 at 5:27 pm #33947No, nothing. It was a tiller pull start I converted. No Safety switch. I wired the kill button to one of the newer kill switches with the safety lanyard.
