Anyone know what it fits?
4 screw float chamber cover marked Tilloson
"A 6" stamped on side of carburetor
A "Gift" given me at a recent swap meet
Louis
The Tillotson’s in "Old Iron" seem only to be 2 LettersTook another look at it
a) cork float
b) no butterfly
With no means to vary volume of charge it must be for a steady rpm motor
MAYTAG comes to mind.January 25, 2018 at 10:42 pm #70187❓ Picture ? ? ? 🙂

All I had to do was ask the computer.

LouisMay 9, 2020 at 9:47 am #202594This is the carb I’m working on now. Mine is from a ‘38 light four.
Seems really simple, but with out a butterfly AND no obvious place for fuel to enter the throat and get blown into the crank I’m at a loss.
I’m going to keep searching past threads.JMGP

Still foreign to me but….
How does the fuel get from owl to throat?
Does it?
There is a passage from bowl to crankcase but that seems more todo with the pump, to prime.
And, the carb gasket that was on the motor didn’t have a hole there.JMGP

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
