I recently got a trailer for my 11′ Blue Streak, a B-Stock Utility Runabout.

It is mahogany plywood over a frame. It stays inside over the snowy winters, but has to be outside in the summers.

I understand that the wood has to breathe, so I’m wondering good, safe, covering options for the summer and occasional rain. Also wondering how to keep the boat protected while trailering, as I tow it with my sedan.

I personally am used to towing F/G sailboats, and other larger boats, but I’d like to be as careful as I can with this one.

Any help would be awesome, thank you!

Something that size, you might find a jet-ski trailer could be modified to suit your needs.
Mount 2×8’s on the long side not the ends, use outdoor carpet to cover the boards and use straps to hold down the back end of the boat to the trailer to prevent it from bouncing up and down.
Maybe mount a bow eye to the nose of the boat, to hold the front end down, but don’t overtighten the winch strap or it will do damage to the bow..
That is how we do it with the bigger wooden boats..

I’ve got a C.E. Smith Multi-Sport 12, a small utility boat trailer that can hold my cartopper as well. It has carpeted bunks, and hold a boat up to 12′. I’m mostly unsure on storage covers and rock protection, mostly.

          THanks!
