I just browsed through the new AOMCI calendar, and
seen on “May”, there is the subject motor shown,
with the builder’s grandson, stating “first time seen
run in 50 years”.What’s the “whole” story on this motor? Sounds
like it would make a good movie, but I could not
find anything on YouTube about it.
I did run across a 75 hp Riley radial that looked
quite impressive though.Prepare to be boarded!

January 9, 2022 at 9:01 am #252623I’d be happy is someday if I try, and succeed in making a little single
cylinder “hit and miss” engine” or something similar on the milling
machine…….. Mr. Van Dyke obviously had bigger dreams
and more skills!Prepare to be boarded!
January 12, 2022 at 6:58 pm #252830I wonder how they lubricate these motors. Is there an oil pump or would they mix oil in the fuel?
