my guess would be a Shoda WWII era military motor.

getting sea sick, and I wasn’t even in the boat! …….. that camera
man needs to slow down!Prepare to be boarded!
December 23, 2018 at 11:17 pm #161131Not only wrapping the starter rope counterclockwise, but looks like the throttle control is opposite turn as well – when holding throttle knob, turn left to slow down and right to speed up. Could see it just after startup, but more noticeable at the 2:56 mark.
