        Further to Harry’s comment….

        I believe he is correct, and the pop rivets are from excess inventory at the end of one year having their ID tags removed and replaced with the new year’s model #.

            Perfect motor…. 1 bad coil and 2 bad condensers tested on W.Mohat test box 🙂 Compression to be tested….but I am not worried

              Since when? I’ve never seen that but the serial numbering can be different.

                Mumbles is correct, the serial numbers are way different than usa and the years made are usually later than you would think.
                Check the numbers on the welch plug on the powerhead. They should match the data plate.
