In the April 2021 Outboarder “Fuel Pumps and Coils’
page 28-29 it mentions (I Believe) these coils not producing a spark.

well I never had any issues with China coils… ( over a dozen sets installed)

one unfounded doubt one time but it may have beed unfounded.

hey Crosbyman, can you post the URL link to these coils? Are they from amazon.ca?

In defence of offshore coils, I’ve installed over sixty of the Chinese Zhongfadz coils now in the past few years without any problems. There are several manufacturers of these coils so the bad ones may have been a different brand.

try pasting it all back in one piece after to swap z for h and pasting it to the rest … one small t.o. would kill it

That price is probably as good as any at the moment. I bought mine in lots of twenty from Ebay sellers before and would dicker on the price if the ad said ‘Make an offer’.

I too have bought and used dozens of these Chinese coils with no problems. However, even though it says “free shipping” I always get dinged with import fees on arrival. Bringing my costs closer to $17 CAD per coil.
