Well, the "Lazarus Motor" has not fully risen yet. I ordered a reed and a tank from Doug Penn. Hopefully, that will get me running in the water….lol. I am thinking of painting the little guy. Maybe, Mumbles can teach me the ways of the "Force" and bestowe upon me some painting skills.
Wished I lived near a good attended meet. I would loved to find a cheap, but decent power head for my Johnson CD12. The PO stated it was locked up from sitting but it was damage from a lack of oil. It looks like he tried to convert it to use a fuel pump and probably ran it on 50:1. The check valves are missing. I can’t complain to much, it was purchased for $25.00.
I will let y’all know how it goes after I change the reed plate and new gaskets on the Neptune.
