These latest responses re: the actual vs perceived benefit of an overheat indicator has given me another, totally different, idea for putting the indicator light to use. Rather than go through the hassle and expense of installing a sensor only to hope that it gives ample warning that I hope I’ll notice when it comes on, I think I’ll use the indicator light to show that my bilge pump is on. 😉
Time to start a new thread re: removing the flywheel.
