Looking for the water pump spacer for a long shaft 1982 Evinrude 25hp. Parts list shows this to be OMC part number 324455. I bought a spacer with that number but it doesn't work - one end of the tube is a larger OD than the other end and the large end is to big to fit into either the water pump housing or the driveshaft tube in the exhaust housing. A previous iteration of this part number was 313524 that apparently superseded to 324455. Here is a pic of the 324455 as shown on Marine Engine which looks to have the same OD on both ends of the spacer (ME doesn't have one). My original spacer measures approximately 1.025" OD on both ends and it fits correctly.
