Wanted- working 6 volt Johnson/Evinrude starter. I believe the starter will have a band around the lower housing. You can test the 6 volt starter with 12 volts. I can pick up at Constantine Mi. or Tomahawk WI. or Bob Barta meet in McHenry IL.
