I’m not real concerned about obtaining maximum speed out of a 15 hp antique motor on
a boat rated for 40 hp. Just wanted to try out the boat for the first time with a motor
I knew that ran okay, and one I could hook up the remote controls to.
Right now, I’m going to address a couple of old repairs in the hull. One was leaking
worse all the time before we got off the lake. The wife suggested I take along
some tampons for emergency leak repairs, but I was fresh out, lol.
Once the leaks are addressed, I want to try out the 25 hp RDE-17 Johnson that I finished
fixing up last summer.
