      Hi everyone!

       

      I thought the 1916 had the ‘knuckle buster’ crank handle, not the rope sheave

        Some were sold with a rope sheave on the flywheel, but not like that one. The factory Evinrude sheave actually was for a flat belt, not a rope. The section where the belt  to be wrapped around was wider for that reason, plus there was a notch where a hook at the end of the belt would fit into. Hope this  helps.
