I have a P40 with a bad gearcase. A member has parts from a P35 for sale and I wondered if anyone knows if they are interchangeable?
I’m going to say they are, I contacted him about that exact gear case for a P35 project and comparing the 35 to 40, they look to be the same.
I will have to look at the service manual to confirm but I do believe they are the same.
Thanks, lyks2. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look. Jim
Johnson common parts list indicates they are identical. This list and part number is for complete gearcases.
I have both motors and they are compatible, they are exactly the same🤔
