Just started working on this one yesterday.
Power head was loose, but binding as it turned.
Problem was in the lower unit.
There’s a bronze hub under the LU nose cone
that the prop shaft protrudes through.
The hub is cracked around it’s circumference,
and appears that someone attempted to braze it
at one time. Not sure what was actually binding,
but perhaps when I get it cleaned up I can tell.

Anyone have a digital parts manual to share?
      I see a A-70 ~ A-80 parts manual on EBay, but
      it’s $30 more that I’m willing to pay. 😮

I never worked on this model before. Looks
like it has "new and different" things to explore!
Strange linkages to the carb, and a neat little
hinged door hiding the spark plugs.
If I get the flywheel off, I hope to find all is well
with the magic components that makes the spark.

Any insight on working on these models welcomed.
      Thanks!
