      Will a tank from a late 40’s Speeditwin fit a 1938? Gary Spencer–would you please post the parts breakdone for this motor?

        The same tank was used on all Evinrude & Elto Speeditwins through the ’30s & 40s’. However in 1939 they did away with the stainless steel drum muffler and came out with a cast aluminum muffler model. These tanks have shorter rear brackets for the new muffler, but can be used on the older models with an adaptor.

              This is an assortment of parts books to try and cover what you need for your Speeditwin.
              Eat/y parts books were copies of pictures – like this – 1931


              In the late 1930s they started using copies of blue prints – this in 1941

              and these from1948.
