      Thanks to everyone for answering my many questions on my 1939 Evinrude Elto Cub.  I am making good progress.

      Please see the image for the transom clamp i took apart.  Is the missing part a nylon or brass swivel clamp pad/cup?

        Nothing fills the hole. There is just a flat, fiber, friction washer to protect the aluminum from the movement. May be a witness mark on the other part for size.

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
