      Hi All
      Well done Tubs and Bucaneer!
      Coming up with those photos Tubs and the copy of the 1941 Neptune pamphlet Bucaneer was a real surprise!
      Interesting to note that the motor my friend Bryan has (11A3) is the economy model of the Neptune Specal. Also interesting, is your comment Tubs, that you have never seen one.The only Neptune motors we have seen here in NZ are the Mighty Mite series, so it is interesting to see the other motors being produced. They certainly have a “Johnson” look about them in their trunk and gearbox appearance…….typical of the early 1940s Johnson’s.

      Attached is a photo of Bryans motor when it first came into my hands late in 2018. The motor appears complete except for the spark plug/carry handle that is missing.
      It will certainly be a big help if someone comes up with a parts diagram………..will keep our fingers crossed!!
