      Hello to all the Evinrude zephyr collectors I have a question I’m in the process of restoring this motor and I noticed the 3 lower end bolts the heads have been stripped from who has it before. Anyone have any thoughts about getting them out and also when I do what kind of gasket do I use since
      There’s no gasket kit available? Do I make my own?

        Pictures of the bolts in question would help get you some responses. As to the gasket question, yes, make your own. A good skill to have if you are going to play in this hobby!

          So do I go to the automotive store and buy paper gasket material or gasket maker goop? Or both doesn’t it need to be water tight?
