      Does anyone know where the water inlet holes are so I know how deep the lower end needs to be in a 55 gallon drum I see a vent pipe on frond is that where water goes in?

        I believe the water inlet is on the underside of the exhaust outlet, behind the propeller. You need to have it in the water at least deeper than the water pump impeller area.

          Ok thank you so much that was a big help. Also do you know where I can get a pull start unit for this it never came with it when I got it I use a rope and wrap it around?

              Where can I find information about the Evinrude Zephyr? I have 4404-06322. Was that also made in 1946? Where can I get the blue spray paint?
