      ok my wires are all disconnected any idea on ow to place them and were on a 1947 evinrude ranger

          Hey do you know if it matters if the piston is removed and reinstalled and it will not mess anything up?

              how do i reseat them
              and i pulled the piston off the camshaft and i think i am screwed.
              i put it back on it fires but wont start

                  Do a compression test on it. It should have at least 65# compression to start and run ok. I have had a couple of these and both the piston and cylinder were worn out.

                    i fixed it i had a clog in gas line i pulled her and started up 1947 evinrude ranger still runs like a beast
