      Just finished the ’53. Runs great but pull cord broke and also broke the starter coil spring. Does anyone have one for sale?

          If you use a knotted nylon rope, be sure you never, ever pull it all the way to the end. If you do, it will cut the knot off and the backlash will destroy another spring.

            Thanks frank. I didn’t have the diagram. U helped me the last time with the impeller I repaired it. Didn’t know it had a riveted clip on the pin end. Also broke a retainer pawl spring. But she runs beautifully. Thanks again
