    Hello,
Currently I am working on 1954 25 Hp Evinrude. Could I reused the head gasket? The cylinder compression is 90/88 psi. Is it acceptable for this 46 year old motor?
What is the head torque valve?

I believe your specs are the same as the early Johnson RD.

Erudnaquarter your math is a little off, that old kicker is 66 years old! No worries I have the same problem now and then. As for reusing the head gasket. Ask your self “how does it Look”. I have reused them occasionally. New gasket is the best, but that old motor might not have the original gasket. Use some sealer if you reuse the old one and putting a little sealer on the bolt treads won’t hurt either. Your compression is reasonable. Torque value you will have to look up.
