The master technician said the motor mounts are bad so every time I’ve rebuilt my lower unit , it pops out of gear due to the shaking and vibration. Does this make sense?

        ARE the mounts broken? the shaking is normal. It would take a broken mount to mess the lower up I would think TGFM

          Did you chop the throttle at the end to make it quit that abruptly? It does look like it locked up though. I heard it seem to jump out of gear one time just before that.

          It is NOT, NOT, NOT a motor mount problem!!!!!!
