Starting to resume work on my Javelin now that the weather has started to break.  With the powerhead removed I see I am missing the exhaust relief cover.  What exactly does this plate do and is it essential for operation?  Any insights appreciated.  1957-35-HP-Parts-Exhaust-Cover

      Thanks,

      Jeff

I think that cover just deflects exhaust away from that water outlet…

Thanks as always Don!  I found one on eBay for  a reasonable price so I’ll replace it.  One of the screws was still there and the other was gone so either it broke off or was intentionally removed.  I found another screw in my stash and the plate is ordered!!
