Good evening folks.

I removed the magneto today.
While cleaning and examining it, I observed a thin piece of metal shaving drop out.
It came from the center, where the brass ring middle is.

I have scoured the exploded diagrams and I’m wondering if it’s remnants of maybe part 2?

I’d love help identifying what it was so I can replace it.
