December 20, 2018 at 12:21 pm #160792Yes, it sure will!
December 20, 2018 at 9:18 pm #160835Will it fit?? The 57 10hp is based off the 18hp midsection, the 58 10hp is based off the 5.5/7.5 midsection….It might fit, but you better check the numbers first….
December 20, 2018 at 11:56 pm #160849Yes it will fit – honest . . .

December 23, 2018 at 6:58 am #161029OK, maybe I am confused….By steering bracket, I am assuming you mean #46….Let me know if this is not the part you are asking about…
The 57 10hp uses the larger 18hp midsection, yes?
The 58 10hp uses the smaller 5.5/7.5 midsection, correct?
The parts book calls out two different “steering bracket/handles” for these two units….
What am I missing/misunderstanding???
376837 for the larger midsection
377277 for the smaller midsection
Again, not trying to question, just trying to understand…..DDecember 23, 2018 at 9:50 am #161073Without having the parts if front of me, I share the same doubts expressed by fleetwin’s above post. But it wouldn’t be the first time I screwed up.
December 23, 2018 at 5:00 pm #161106thanks to all who replied. I looked up the 58 and it does show part # 377277 so yes I need to check the 57 as Gary has always gave me straight and correct answers.

December 23, 2018 at 7:44 pm #161116May bee I gave you a bad cow (Bum steer) – The number 46 steering handle support bracket IS different. The steering bracket that plugs into it is the same. . .

December 23, 2018 at 7:48 pm #161117Terminology can be confusing for sure….
December 24, 2018 at 11:29 am #161185Gary—- You are saying the # 46 item is the one for a 1958 10 hp Evinrude (10016) Part # 376495.
