Darn thing is perfect but does not run right.  Looking for people smarter than me and ideas.  Fully rebuilt it, but can’t get it to run without missing, which is what prompted the rebuild.  Runs better cold then seems constipated.  Pretty much new everything.  Thinking something odd/unusual.  I don’t have a way to check the rebuilt carb, but did two and they run the same.  Even changed the reed valves, puddle valve.  All the normal stuff like rebuilt mag.  Verified the new mag components.  Good compression.  Ideas please …

Did you actually test the condensers using a proper condenser tester? Even new caps can be bad

Anyway you can post a video of the engine running/misbehaving?   I know it is tough to do here, but you can post a link to youtube or something like that.

warm constipation points to coil or condenser reaction to heat more than phyical problems…. but ….any improvements if you pump the primer bulb when it falters..

is it pumping  water ok ?  does the PH get to hot ? check with a IR gun     thermostat test ok ???   salty crudded engine or freshwater

can you run it in the dark… look for arcing

got the free service manual…?  to help out

I assume that since this motor requires powerhead removal to service the impeller…..that you have had the PH off.  Sometimes when all else fails you can look for obstruction  (carbon,  rodent debris etc.) in the exhaust housing.  Restricts breathing.

Like I say;  I assume that has been checked during impeller service but I mention it here for others’ benefit.
