Currently refurbishing my first “vintage” boat, a 1963 Grumman G-12U.

Personally, I’ve never seen another one exactly the same as mine.

I would like to reinforce the transom more, to run different motors on.

It can hold up to an 8 hp, but I seem to have flexing in the transom with anything above a 6 hp.

Was thinking I could use marine plywood on the back to beef it up a bit.

Any help would be awesome.
