      In the parts list I’ve seen on-line (have not been able to locate a parts manual for my 1965 Johnson 9.5 hp outboard), I see drain plugs listed (with or without gaskets) but do not see the gaskets listed. I’ve checked with my local hardware store and they did not have one. Do any of you have a source for these? I can buy the plug – it just seems like a waste when I don’t need it.

        Welcome! I found a part # 311598. Sierra # 18-4248-9(5 pack) 18-42481-9(50 pack)

        These numbers are from my Fastwin parts book, but should work OK.

            Those fit just about every Johnson/Evinrude/Mercury and a bunch of others from the 1950s up through today.
