Hello all, I need to find some cowling trim for the motor cover. All my searches have been unsuccessfull. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave
Cant help with the trim, just want to say I’m glad your grandson got his cowl back.

Thanks Steve, it’s a little worse for the wear but at least we got it back. He did the motor himself and was proud of it.
Glad to hear you got the cowl back. If you find a good source for that trim for the cover, I’d be interested in where you found it. I have a couple of these motors that could use new trim also. -Ben

I need some too. As many of these motors as there are around, you’d think there would be rubber trim available.
Something like this could work. A little searching could get more colors and sizes. Windlace.

try different soft tubing then split it lengthwise and glue it on with clear GOOP
