well I found my next winter project ….good or bad at $70 I’ll use it as a parts motor if I can’t unseize it (head is discolored)

this is my 4th 9.5 turtle all others I got going with some work incl oil & poke

sold 1 already to recoup my parts $$$$ and make friends one is my kicker and one still in the basement ready to relive

this is a follow-up to my previous post where the guy chicken out at $67.50…. he never did sell it so a follow-up mail at $70 did it…
25 miles away his gas was 80 cents a gallon cheaper… so saved on gas for a fill up !

        it is a 9 R 72 sort shaft

turns out he was missing the L/S needle and cable/knob but I picked it up anyway …for parts and all if I can’t find a needle and unseize it
but first…. I’ll just let it soak till winter…. at least I have a good prop, starter assembly etc….. hopefully they fit my 9622a

I found the props also fit the 6 HP motors of that era.
