Can anyone tell me what would cause white smoke to come out front of carb on 6hp Evinrude after it stalls out. Thanks

I may be wrong, when that happened on two cycle motor cycles it was fuel/oil vapors being blown back out the carbs. The velocity causes the fuel/oil vaporize super fine and to look like smoke.

Does it sneeze, then stall? If so, this is just intake vapors being blown back through the reeds/carb when the engine sneezes/coughs which are at a relatively high pressure.
