      I’m looking for comments/opinions regarding this motor. Any significant problem areas?

        The motor is fine. That is the last year for the older style trim & tilt. (If the motor has that or you desire one?) Those units are hard to find. The 1989 and up TNT units are expensive, but easier to obtain. Styling changed on the motors, but the basics remained the same. Great fuel economy. Not the smoothest idle for a big cu in twin.
