if you have both broken parts why not just just stuf a few 2-3 inch galvanized nails imbedded in high PSI …JB Weld under the joint to glue it back into one piece … smooth out “the surface” joint with JB weld, sand down with 100 grit paper and repaint it … noboby will know but you.
make certain surfaces are cleaned of any oil (carb cleaner works) and rought up the underside to maximize glue adherence
$10 fix.. or less. I even fixed up the skeg on my 75hp ETEC with the JB…. good stuff !!
