Hello all.  Wondered if anyone has a good replacement for the cover seal – its #16 in the attached sketch.  It seems like there should be a similar seal in the marine or RV world but haven’t found it.  I like Steel Rubber Co. but didn’t see anything in their catalog.   I don’t care how original it looks as long as it seals correctly.

aside from OEM stuff $$  have you looked at automotive trims … some models on AMAZON will clip on the edge.  other have  used fuel line or rubber hose split  open and  glued on the rim

if you with door trims    verify  dimensions  Colisal Car Door Edge Guards 33Ft(10M) Car Door Edge Protector Black U Shape Edge Trim Fit for Most Car, Door Entry Guard – Amazon Canada

North York Marine has the OEM piece, probably around US $50 shipped.   Here’s a link:

The automotive trim that crosbyman referenced might be a workable solution at a lower cost.

I’ve seen, but not purchased , automotive weather seals from my local NAPA dealer.

Thanks. I’ve seen the traditional edge trim at various sources.  But finding that same style trim with a lip or bulb or foam on the side has been tricky.  They are out there but the side seal is always to large.
