      Hi all,

My first post here! Thanks for the add. I have an old 9.6 Viking (chrysler) and the pull cord will not recoil itself after pulling the motor over.
Does anyone have any tips or ideas as to what it may be? I’m thinking it may be the spring, but won’t know until I start into the disassembly.
Does anyone know if there are parts kicking around? We recently bought a hunting camp and I was really hoping to have a good little boat and motor for the lake!

          Hi Frank,

That’s really similar! Any idea where I could get some of those parts of need be?

            Hear are the parts. http://www.marineengine.com/parts/force … 87a-models
And this is a video I made on how to rebuild it.

Is there anyway to purchase the entire unit already assembled?

Likely only if you find some one selling a good used one. You can try the free classified here, ebay or one of the members might have one and be in touch with you about it. Everyone is good and helpful here.

                Good luck finding it
